Tail light comes complete and packaged as a plug-in/bolt-on assembly. Example photos follow:
Connectors/Resistors OPTIONAL Flash Relay
From left to right:
-Plug n' play connector (Main connector)
-Turn signal wires and connectors from integrated LED Tail-light
-Load resistors*
-Optional Flash Relay**
*The Load Resistors are used to keep the signal lights blinking at the original preset speed. It is not required to install the load resistors for proper function of this light The signals will just flash at a faster rate of speed.
**The optional flash relay replaces the original stock relay. (This relay is not required for proper function, its just different option from load resistors) The Flash Relay is to keep the signal lights blinking at the original preset speed and may be used in place of load resistors. The relay is situated in or near the fuse box in most instances. The optional Flash Relay is also capable in most cases to maintain the stock blinking speed preset even if LED front signals are used in combination with an Integrated Tail Light.
The LED's will shine the same RED and YELLOW light as shown below EVEN with a colored LENS
